INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE SERVER
Step 1 of 3: Download and Install Firebird© onto the Server machine: Install the Database Service Program Firebird.
Step 2 of 3: Download and Install EasyTracking™ onto the Server machine: Install the Multi-User Version of EasyTracking.
Step 3 of 3: Download and SAVE the Latest Version of EasyTracking™ onto the Server machine: Download / SAVE (Replace Existing crimefree.exe) the Latest Version of EasyTracking. Also, for version 12xx, download / SAVE these two Dictionary files (into the same folder as you put the crimefree.exe file) :
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE SERVER DATABASE PATH
If you left the default location settings (drive "C") during the installation, you don't have to do anything... it's ready to go. The "Database Path" is: C:\Program Files\Dynamic Design\Crime Free\EasyTracking\Multi-User\OnServer\cfmain.gdb
IF YOU INSTALLED EASYTRACKING ON YOUR SERVER'S PHYSICAL "D" OR ANY OTHER DRIVE LETTER, Follow the Instructions below. To do this, run the program CrimeFree.exe on the Server, then click Sign On / System Settings and fill in "Database Path" field with the following:
Replace "C" with Physical Drive Letter on Server and Path to the file cfmain.gdb on Server. The "Database Path" Result (if you left the default location in the installation settings BUT INSTALLED ON THE SERVER'S PHYSICAL "D" DRIVE) would be: D:\Program Files\Dynamic Design\Crime Free\EasyTracking\Multi-User\OnServer\cfmain.gdb
